The Associated Students of Lower Columbia College, Multicultural Club, and Multicultural Student Services presents: Ellen Goodblatt will be appearing in the Lower Columbia College Student Center on May 1 at noon. Ellen Goodblatt will be lecturing about “Sex, Passion, and Intimacy” - 200 important Questions to Ask Before You Go Further in a Relationship. A relationship expert, a nationally syndicated advice columnist and author Ellen Goodblatt was the host of the number one rated ABC evening talk show heard in 39 states. The umbrella of her topic was male/ female relationships including marriage/divorce issues and the lifestyles of singles and widows. However, on any given night the topic may have been parents/children, neighbor/friend or any other aspect of the human condition. Other topics are “Meeting, Dating and Mating” and “Men Aren’t Women”.

Dr. Andrew BacevichExpert on War and Empire
The Associated Students of Lower Columbia College, Multicultural Club, and Multicultural Student Services presents the William Vest Memorial Lecture with Dr. Andrew Bacevich.
Dr. Bacevich is a professor of history and international relations at Boston University. A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, he received his Ph. D in American diplomatic history from Princeton. Before joining the faculty of Boston University he taught at West Point and John Hopkins University.
Dr. Bacevich is the author of several books including “The New American Militarism: How Americans are Seduced by War” and “American Empire: The Realities and Consequences of U.S. Diplomacy.” His essays and reviews have appeared in a wide variety of scholarly and general interests publications. His op-eds have appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times among other newspapers.
